“Old School School”After 5 years as a teacher and PhD student in the CUNY system, Nathan noticed that students were incentivized not to have a real relationship with education, but to "get through it" for a job.
So in 2020 he dropped out of teaching and devoted himself full-time to where education is truly happening: the internet. He believes that for all its pitfalls, social media resembles the chaotic, creative context in which ancient philosophy, and true education, was practiced.
Now he travels the country as a performer and lecturer, teaches online courses, and helps clients reach millions with his video essays and songs.
